It won't happen, but if we are playing pretend, I would say that there is no way Hillary would take the VP slot with Gore and there is no way he would want her after his years as VP. I think a Gore/Obama ticket would be great - I actually thought Gore was going to get in and this is the ticket that would come out of the convention.

Gore did not "invent" or "create" the internet. The first parts of the internet were put together in the late 60's and early 70's when Gore was a young man. So either way he had little to do with it's initiation.

As a Senator, he did co-sponsor legislation making possible "internet 2" the higher speed internet used by Universities, Government and some businesses today.

IMO, a bigger lie Gore told was on Oprah when asked what his favorite courses in college were and he answered "science" and wen on to talk about how much he loved science. But he never took a science course unless you consider political science.

I've read the article, Munty. My point is that the term "create" is closer to the word "invent" than it is to "promote." The article does not address such an analysis. Snopes only states that "the words 'create' and 'invent' have distinctly different meanings," without addressing the fact that the terms 'create' and 'promote' are also quite different. I'd argue that the latter two are more different than the former.

It won't happen. To have run for president in one race, then VP in a subsequent one is an admission of failure. I don't think this has ever happened. (I could be wrong, but I can't recall it having happened)

If a brokered convention occurs and we go into August and Hillary is still fighting it is going to be a long summer and we will probably see John McCain our next President. I don't think Al Gore may be interested in the VP role again. He was the VP for 8 years and then lost in his bid for 2000 although he received the popular vote. The supreme cort squelched a re-count in Flordia. This man who has had his time in the sun has spoke to Obama twice that I know of but I am not sure what is being kicked around. Frankly there will be no dream-team of Obama and Hillary as she would be over at the White House or on the phone with President Obama all the time telling him what to do. Obamas best stradegy would be to name a VP Gore, Richardson, either before the PA and NC primaries. Not that VP's get you elected but they would point out there is to be NO HILARY and the convention would not be brokered in this way.
